At the street off Hwy 2 towards Khao Yai you can find an unusual "Thai" tourist attraction: in the Italian village "Palio" shops and restaurants in Italian boutique design try to make you feel like in Italy. Just don't expect it to be all like that. You'll also find your McD there! If you go there on a weekend it will be crowded with Bangkokians escaping their city.
